Unakite is an altered granite composed of various shades of pink feldspar, green epidote and quartz. The appearance of the colors generally is described as "mottled". Metaphysically, it is believed that it can promote self-assertiveness, improve personal growth and development, bring about a healthy pregnancy and reproductive system (both male and female), improve the circulatory system, and protect gardens from disease. Some believe that it absorbs "electromagnetic smog" given off by electronics, such as computers, TVs, etc. It is associated with the heart chakra.
