Picture jasper consists of a blend of different shades of brown, tan, and cream. The banding, flow patterns, and color variations result in what appear to be scenes or images in a cut section. In general, jasper was used by kings and shamans for their metaphysical properties. It is nicknamed “the stone of global awareness” because it is believed to bring balance and harmony between humanity and nature.
