Hematite can sometimes be called black diamond. The term hematite is derived from a Greek word “haima” meaning blood. It is associated with the Greek god of war, Ares, and the Romans god of war, Mars. The Romans adorned themselves with hematite, and used the mineral to paint their faces. This provided strength, and made them fearless and invincible.

Absolutely gorgeous pair. Great weight and feel. Much heavier than my other sets. After a couple days with the hematite set and my other sets feel practically weightless. Very pleased with them.
These are very beautiful, much denser than other baoding balls on this site. The medium size for these is a little smaller than other medium balls on this site, but they are denser and heavier.
I love the chime of the classic style Medicine Balls, but I needed a quiet set for Physical Therapy, post-surgery. The Hematite Boading Balls have a pleasant weight and I can use them while we’re watching TV to get in my PT without disrupting our TV time. They’re also gorgeous so I don’t mind having them out on the shelf when I’m. not using them… it’s a great way to remind myself to get in the daily PT with them.
Pro level users only! I enjoy these a ton from an energy benefit and overall look/feel but be aware they are at least 2x heavier than other mineral/stone versions like the Obsidian.
I am trying to improve the strength in my hand due to a thumb dislocation. The area is very difficult to target with traditional exercises and too painful with some other aids. These work well and I only occasionally drop one, which is more likely to crack something it lands on than the ball itself. Very heavy and nice quality.
They feel good in my hand. I sense another purchase coming quite soon.

I’m very impressed with the quality of Hematite used to make these. The 2” set is fairly heavy and have been great for building strength and dexterity, as well as, soothing sore wrist and hand muscles. Very eye catching and make a great decoration for my desk when I’m not using them. Highly recommended.

These balls are solid. Feels kind of sexual for your hand, like a massage on your body and these balls look like a space planet, very inspiring. Great balls.
